This two part all-levels workshop will explore the foundational principals of Anusara-Inspired™ yoga with a special emphasis on the element of spanda in ones practice. Spanda is a Sanskrit word meaning pulsation. Everything in the universe pulsates from the stars to the cells in your body. It is through the practice of yoga that we can align our heart, mind and body with this grand pulsation.
For the past 10 years Lucas has been extensively studying film, theatre and movement. Since his discovery of yoga Lucas was ignited with a passion for radical transformation. Lucas is a 200RYT and Anusara-Inspired™ yoga instructor receiving his teacher training from Darren Rhodes, Christina Sell and Jonas Westring. He was introduced to the practice from Vancouver’s Anusara-Inspired™ yoga instructor Shelley Tomczyk, who has continued to guide him along his teaching path to this day. Lucas maintains that through a disciplined yoga practice we invoke the fullest potential of the human body in relation to the absolute.
