This six part series will give you the tools take your teaching to the next level.
We will explore foundational techniques for teaching asana, including verbal instruction, developing and integrating themes, therapeutics, manual adjustment and sequencing. You’ll focus on cultivating your unique voice as you practice weaving all of these elements together to create a powerful and transformative experience for your students.
$50 each single session or $275 for entire series (6 sessions),
$150 supplement for practicum (includes 6 mentoring classes on the Wednesdays for the duration of the series where we’ll work together on creating classes and practice teaching in a group setting)

AM – Elements of a Class: Learn the components that make up a memorable and inspiring class. What to include (and not include) in your classes to keep your students coming back.
PM – Dynamic Directives: Find your voice! Refine your verbal instructions so that you are clear, concise and engaging.
Saturday, October 13
AM – Themeing: Learn practical tools to generate and refine authentic themes, and how to use them to increase the potency of your classes.
PM – Sequencing Towards a Peak Pose. Examine the underlying principles behind sequencing toward a pinnacle posture to optimize your students’ success.
Saturday, October 27
AM – Injuries and Therapeutics: Learn the root of common injuries and how to give educated advice to students on how to prevent and heal their issues.
PM – Manual Adjustments: Learn to skilfully and confidently apply manual adjustments. Combines theory of alignment and form of poses to help your students align optimally with step-by-step instructions on how to perform manual adjustments safely and effectively.
