Michael Taylor, co-owner of Yoga in Mind in Victoria, BC is sharing a weekend workshop here at Get Bent September 14-16. Michael is is certified E-RYT 200 Hrs with the Yoga Alliance. Yin Yoga utilizes a repertoire of physical postures held mindfully for a long period of time. This brings suppleness to the less elastic tissues, strengthens the energetic system and increases overall health and well-being.Workshop goals include learning theory, history, context, benefits of yin yoga, demystifying beliefs about yoga and anatomy, learn the postures and modifications for all levels of ability, and utilize physical practice, discussion and anatomical comparison in order to feel confident with the practice of Yin Yoga. We are promised a greatly educational and humorous weekend with Michael – sharing his experience.Practitioners and Teachers both welcome.
