Sunday February 3rd 9:30-1:30pm
Ann is one of Canada’s most senior teachers, and a long time student of the Iyengar family and of Shirley Daventry French. She has been teaching since 1988, and she is a teacher trainer with Iyengar Yoga Centre Victoria’s program and at Kelowna Yoga House, in conjunction with Shirley Daventry French, as well as an assessor for Iyengar teacher certification nationwide.
Ann is a registered Occupational Therapist and brings her considerable academic and practical knowledge from this field into her understanding of Iyengar Yoga.
The Iyengar’s have provided her with an abundance of inspiration, and she desires to share some of her understandings in exploring different categories of poses with attention and focus on how to change the asana to be with the rhythm of the body.
“The pains which are yet to come can be and are to be avoided.”
