Yoga made for runners is a dynamic system created specifically to meet the needs of runners. YMFR consists of focussed breathing, upper and lower body strengthening, core stabilizing exercises, and deep, slow, stretching. As well, info on running anatomny, biomechanics of injury, and injury prevention. This 5 hour workshop begins with a 90 minute yoga practice followed by an in depth lecture and demonstrations on how yoga will make us stronger, faster and healthier runners.
This workshop is perfect for all runners, regardless of experience or ability. Anyone with an open mind and adventurous spirit is welcome, no prior yoga experience necessary.
