Yogis of all ages and abilities convened to take their practice outside for a good cause, and here is a video from the class!
June is Stroke Month. In Canada, a stroke happens every 10 minutes but thanks to advances in research there is life after stroke.
Recent reports suggest adding yoga to stroke rehabilitation can have a positive impact on recovery.
On June 23 Pam Rader from Power Shift Yoga led an outdoor class along with several instructor’s assistants. $400 was raised at the event and there is a possibility there will be another one before the summer is through.
