This series is a great way to get exposed to the Body Rolling work. The focus will be on the basic routines of upper body, lower body and over all concepts. We will be working the posterior and anterior of the body. This class is ideal for beginners that have never experienced Yamuna Body Rolling and for those who have had some experience on the ball but need some fine tuning.
Yamuna Body Rolling:
A technique that ‘educates’ the body’s muscles, creating space in the muscles and joints working on smalls balls varying from 3”-10”. It works with the body’s natural pathways by releasing muscles from their origin point to their insertion point and away from the bone. You release your body weight toward the ground via the ball, and then you wait for the change. This technique removes old restrictions and deeply stimulates the nervous system. YBR® is a natural complement to Yoga. Their goals are the same – to free the body of restrictions, eliminate stress and tension; creating a calm and balanced you. YBR® can be integrated into any Yoga practice, helping to improve your practice and prevent injury.

Class preparation and equipment: all equipment will be provided for new students, if you have equipment bring it, wear form fitting clothing as loose fitting clothing can get caught up in the balls.
Equipment will be available for purchase.
