OPEN•HEART•DANCE is a free-form, intuitive, dynamic meditation / ecstatic dance modeled after Gabrielle Roth’s 5 Rhythms. In her words, it is on of the few practices where you come and move how you feel: if you feel joyous, dance joyous. If you feel tired, dance tired. There are no steps to learn and no techniques to master – absolutely no dance experience is necessary. IF YOU HAVE A BODY & A HEART, YOU CAN DANCE. All movement is generated by how your body would like to move.
If you have a desire to move your body and to connect to your intuition through dance, this is the class for you. Classes are approximately an hour and a half to two in length hours, give or take. Participants are asked to dress comfortably in layers (you’ll likely get both warm and cool), bare feet, socks or inside shoes, bring some water and a desire to move your body!
